Selena Gomez isn’t quite ready to try out bangs.
Gomez, 32, took to Instagram on Monday, June 23, to joke about cutting a fringe while rocking clip-in strands. She styled her brunette mane in choppy waves with faux bangs cut slightly past her eyes. The singer paired her hair with fun glam featuring coral lips, extra rosy cheeks and graphic eye makeup complete with brown shadow blended to crease and cut with a nude shade. She completed her look with a touch of mascara and feathered eyebrows while covering up in a white bathrobe.
“I would, but I’d regret it, then get it redone so I simply wont #bangs,” Gomez captioned the post.

Throughout the years, Gomez has experimented with a number of hairstyles. While filming Wizards of Waverley Place from 2007 to 2012, Gomez donned extra long brunette hair that cascaded to her waist before cutting slightly past her shoulders in the show’s final season.
In 2013, she added caramel brown highlights to her locks, along with long extensions. By 2015, she said goodbye to her highlights and dyed her hair nearly black. The following year, she added a balayage to her tresses, as well as a wispy fringe.
In 2017, Gomez opted for an ashy blonde makeover with a brunette root smudge before returning back to her go-to coffee brown in 2019.

She again experimented with highlights to close out 2023, with curtain bangs and chest-length hair. Halfway through 2024, Gomez trimmed her tresses and gave her strands a fresh glaze. Later that year, she chopped her hair to her shoulders before going even shorter to a chic bob in 2025.
