Allison Williams Calls Out Kelly Clarkson for Checking Her for Signs of Botox

Allison Williams keeps it real when it comes to beauty secrets.

Williams, 37, opened up about getting Botox injections while making an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show during her M3GAN 2.0 press tour on Tuesday, June 24. During the episode, Williams opened up about her podcast, “Landlines,” which she started with her two friends in 2024.

“We talk about all kinds of things, not just about being parents,” she explained of her show, which originated from them leaning on each other through texting. “We talk about aging, hormones and Botox and life.”

Williams then caught Clarkson’s eyes staring at her forehead, examining her for signs of Botox.

“You looked at my forehead,” Williams quipped. “There’s Botox in there.”

She and Clarkson then both cracked up. “That was so subtle!” Williams exclaimed as Clarkson, 43, fell to the floor laughing.

“I hope you can see that,” she said to the audience. “She looked!”

Clarkson then defended herself while admitting she checked out the actress’ face. “Because you said Botox! And I [thought], ‘Oh, it doesn’t look [obvious].’ I looked and I see a little bit of a line,” she said, pointing to her own forehead.

“I can’t move it,” Williams joked.

The Get Out actress went on to share her “funniest story about Botox,” which happened right after she had finished breastfeeding her son Arlo, whom she welcomed in 2021 with fiancé Alexander Dreymon.

At the time, she was starting to show Arlo books about what human emotions look like, but she had just gotten more Botox.

“He’s like, ‘Mama is sad,’ and I’m like ‘Uh oh,’” she laughed. “[All my emotions are] gonna look the same. I was like, ‘I’m gonna have to make sounds to accompany these.’”

While she gets the muscle relaxer during her press tours, Williams lets it dissolve while she’s filming to make sure her characters can express emotions.

Clarkson, for her part, has not experimented with the injection.
