Dermot Mulroney was married to Prima Apollinaare for more than a decade before he filed for divorce.
Mulroney and Apollinaare were first linked in 2008, one year after the actor’s split from Catherine Keener. That same year, the pair welcomed their first daughter, Maybel Ray. They expanded their family with daughter Sally two years later. (Mulroney is also father to son Clyde whom he shares with Keener.)
In December 2010, Apollinaare and Mulroney officially tied the knot. During a 2012 appearance on The Rosie Show, the Chicago Fire star opened up about moving on following his first divorce.

“A lot of it doesn’t make sense, but you can’t deny your heart,” he said at the time.
In June 2025, Us Weekly confirmed that Mulroney filed for divorce from Apollinaare after 14 years of marriage. The actor cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. Mulroney also asked for spousal support from Apollinaare, an Italian musician, while requesting that the court block her from receiving any financial support from him.

Prima Apollinaare and Dermot Mulroney Did a Show Together
Apollinaare and Mulroney competed in the game show We Are Family in February 2024. The series, which is hosted by Anthony Anderson and his mom, features an unknown singer and their celebrity relative who is kept secret until the end. Apollinaare performed “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” by The Shirelles before dueting “Islands in the Stream” by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers with Mulroney.
“We both like to do karaoke together and we both like music so much. It was actually, for me, it was really an amazing experience to be on television and singing,” Apollinaare told Entertainment Weekly of the experience. “Of course with my husband, I play with him all the time in the house. We all play instruments. We have harps, guitars, ukulele, pianos, you name it. So we’re all musicians, but to actually do it and just have people winning money is also very rewarding. I’ve been singing since I was very little and music is my heart. So it was a great experience. They made it so easy for us. We had so much fun. I wish we could do it again.”
