Former Dawson’s Creek costars Joshua Jackson and Busy Philipps gave Us a glimpse at what grown-up (and coordinated!) Pacey and Audrey might look like today.
The pair were all smiles as they posed together at the MPTF NextGen Annual Summer Party fundraiser in L.A. Overseas on Sunday, June 22. Jackson, 47, rocked a light-pink suit with a white shirt while Philipps, 45, matched his look, styling her pink hair in loose waves while stunning in a white two-piece set with gold heels.
An eyewitness exclusively tells Us Weekly that Jackson and Philipps were “in good spirits” on the red carpet together and were seen chatting inside the party. The insider shares that the twosome had a “friendly interaction” at the event, which Philipps hosted.
From our partners:
Jackson and Philipps’ reunion came more than two decades after the finale of Dawson’s Creek aired. The coming-of-age teen drama centered around the lives of pals Pacey Witter (Jackson), Dawson Leery (James Van Der Beek), Joey Potter (Katie Holmes) and Jen Lindley (Michelle Williams). Philipps’ character, Audrey Liddell, was introduced to the fold for the final two seasons, where she starred as Joey’s college roommate, and a love interest for Jackson.

While the cast didn’t speak for several years after the show ended, they are now back in contact. During a March episode of Jana Kramer’s “Whine Down” podcast, Van Der Beek, 48, said he’s “gotten in touch with them recently and it’s just been so nice.”
“It’s just been so great to talk to them and catch up with, like, who they are now this many years out and to have that shared experience from back in the day,” he said. “It’s just so lovely every time I get to catch up with one of them.”

He continued, “We all went our separate ways and just didn’t speak for years because we were just living our lives and doing our things. And to just kind of reconnect and be like, ‘Oh, wow, I love who you’ve become.’”
Philipps, for her part, exclusively told Us in March that the cast is in the process of organizing a reunion in support of Van Der Beek. (The actor shared in November 2024 that he had been diagnosed with colorectal cancer one year prior.)

“We’re really trying to figure something out, but there are a couple of people who have some work things that cannot be moved,” Philipps told Us. “It’s like playing chess, trying to get everybody’s schedules to align. I’m very hopeful that at some point we will.”
She added, “Everybody is, and I’m so glad to see and hear from James — and I know he posted on Instagram that he’s feeling well — and we just have all been really sending him every ounce of good wishes and prayers and hoping for the best.”
