Ice Spice is spilling the tea about her friends Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce — and according to her, they’re just like Us.
The rapper, 25, opened up about the super famous couple at the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday, June 21, when Entertainment Tonight asked to share a “surprising” fact about the pop star and her boyfriend, both 35.
“They’re really, really funny,” Ice Spice replied. “They’re probably some of my funniest friends. They’re funny, you guys. That’s the scoop. They’re like us.”

Ice Spice, whose real name is Isis Gaston, has been friends with Swift since 2023 when they collaborated on the “Karma” remix together. She also attended both the 2024 and 2025 Super Bowl with Swift and cheered on Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs together.
While some critics claimed Ice Spice and Swift’s friendship wasn’t real, the “In Ha Mood” artist didn’t mince words when addressing the rumors.
“[It’s] so rude to me, [because] why would she not want to be my friend?” Ice Spice told Rolling Stone in July 2024. “Taylor f***s with me. She’s so funny. I think our personalities mesh really well.”
She went on to call Swift her “closest celebrity friend.” The “All Too Well” singer, meanwhile, had nothing but praise for the rapper.

She added, “I knew based on the questions she asked and the observations she made that she didn’t just want to be a passenger in her own career. She wanted to be the driver of it.”
The previous year, Swift told Variety that she could “relate” to Ice Spice in “many ways” as an artist.

“She’s extremely professional without being cold. Playful and fun without ever taking her eye off the prize,” the Grammy winner said in September 2023. “She knows what is and isn’t ‘her’ and sets those boundaries with grace. It’s her ability to carefully find that balance that impresses the hell out of me.”
