Nick Carter’s recent slim-down has caused a stir among his fans, but a source exclusively tells Us Weekly that he’s not on Ozempic.
“He is not using weight loss drugs,” the insider says, noting that the Backstreet Boys singer’s thinner appearance is due to his preparation for the band’s upcoming concerts.
According to the source, “He’s just been dancing and rehearsing — and it’s a lot.” Carter, 45, has been “dancing 12 hours a day, five days a week rehearsing for The Sphere shows,” the insider adds.

“Soaking up some Vegas heat before today’s rehearsals,” he captioned the Instagram photo. In the snap, Carter wore a red Ford T-shirt and a Victus baseball cap as he smiled for the camera.
While many fans didn’t think anything of the singer’s appearance in the picture, others claimed he must be using weight loss drugs because he was “too thin.”

“Maybe he took some ozempic ,” one user wrote in the comments, referring to the Type 2 diabetes medication that many celebrities have used to drop pounds quickly.
Another user commented on the picture, writing, “He looks very unhealthy, hope he is OK!” A separate follower added, “Sorry to say, but you look a bit too thin to me!…I hope you’re okay, @nickcarter !
..Love you so much!

Despite several users throwing Ozempic allegations Carter’s way in the comments section, many of his fans shut down the negative remarks and had the singer’s back.
“Hey ladies … just like we don’t want men commenting on our weight … men don’t need to hear your opinions either,” one user wrote on Carter’s post.
A separate user teased, “The heat looks good on you cause you’re hot as always! .”
Carter doesn’t appear to be fazed by fan speculation about his weight. Instead, he’s been promoting the Backstreet Boys’ Into the Millennium Sphere tour dates taking place in Las Vegas from July 11 through August 24.

“Just a little snuggle before rehearsals today is all I need. ,” he captioned an Instagram post on Thursday, June 19, while cuddling with two of his little ones on the couch.
Earlier this week, Carter shared videos of his kids’ playing baseball, watching their new puppy sleep and gifting him with a custom baseball card for Father’s Day on Sunday, June 15.
