Emily Ratajkowski isn’t a regular mom — she’s a cool mom.
Ratajkowski, 34, opened up about how motherhood has changed her style while chatting with Elle in a profile published Thursday, June 19.
The model, who shares her son Sylvester, 3, with ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, told the publication that she only slightly adjusted her look after welcoming him. “It’s a little bit of a walk to my son’s school now, so I can’t wear heeled shoes,” she said, noting that when she lived in New York City, her apartment was only “two blocks” from his preschool so she regularly showed up in full glam to drop off and pick up her little one.
From our partners:
“I would often just leave for work from there,” she explained. “At that point I was hosting my filmed podcast, so I would be in an outfit.”

While Ratajkowski knew she stood out among other parents with her “dressed up” looks, it never bothered her.
“I think that’s actually one of the ways I really enjoy being subversive with motherhood,” she shared. “There’s so much around what a mom should look like.”

The Gone Girl actress never shies away from slaying in a sexy outfit, even while hanging with Sylvester.
In April, she shared a sweet photo of the two cuddling up in a restaurant and beaming at each other. Ratajkowski went topless underneath a blazer, exposing her cleavage as her son sat on her lap. In another shot, she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Ratajkowski even took Sylvester to his first fashion show in September 2024. For the Loewe presentation, the model looked chic in a plaid top, which she wore partially unbuttoned. She teamed the flowy design with a black leather skirt complete with a drop-waist and soft pleats.
She carried her son into the show and dressed him in a gray baggy T-shirt adorned with the brand’s logo and wine-red pants.
