While Annie Knight’s mom is her No. 1 supporter now, she initially had some reservations about her daughter’s OnlyFans career.
“You didn’t tell me. I turned on my phone and there was a story online. A news story. And I was like, ‘That’s my daughter,’” Karyn Knight recalled during an episode of Annie Knight – Travels with My Mother. “I was so confused and I didn’t know what OnlyFans was. … Then I read the story a bit more and was like, ‘Whoa what the hell? What the hell is going on?”
Karyn admitted in the series, which follows the mother-daughter duo on their shared travels, that she was “angry” when she first discovered her daughter’s online career. Annie, meanwhile, noted that her mom didn’t reach out to her — but her stepdad did.

“You told my stepdad and then he messaged me and said, ‘Mom saw this.’ And then I said, ‘Can I talk to her?’ And then you didn’t want to talk to me for two weeks,” Annie said. “After that, literally from that day, you’ve been so supportive. I think it took you a while to fully … like, you didn’t want to hear about it at the start. Whereas now I’m like, ‘Mom I have a collab today.’ And you’re like, ‘Oh, was it good? Did you have fun?’”

Annie noted that she receives comments on her social media suggesting that her mom may not approve of her choices — which she said is not the case.
“A lot of people comment on my Instagram posts, and they’re like, ‘What would your mother say about this?’ Or, you know, ‘Your mother must be proud,’” Annie said. “It’s like, well, actually, yeah, she’s pretty proud.”
Karyn explained that she initially would “fight back” in the comments section, but noted that it “didn’t take long” for her to realize that was “not what you do.” Annie noted that there are negative and positive aspects to her career, but shared that there are “way more” positive components.
“The most rewarding thing for me is to be able to give back to you because you did so much for me growing up. You raised me to be who I am today. I’m so grateful for you,” Annie said, to which Karyn replied, “I just have to say how really proud I am of you. So proud.”

Annie, who made headlines in May for sleeping with 583 men in six hours, also has the support of her fiancé, Henry Brayshaw.
“He was actually at work the day of the event, but he called me in the morning, wished me luck, said, ‘Make us proud. Have fun. Be safe,’” Knight exclusively told Us Weekly after the challenge. “And then called me the night of and was like, ‘How was it?’ And I told him all about it.”
Annie noted that Brayshaw, whom she got engaged to in March, was “just really stoked” that she “went above and beyond” her initial goal of having 200 men participate in the event.
“He was proud of me for completing it, because I think he was a bit worried that I wouldn’t be able to and that I’d be upset that I couldn’t do it,” she told Us. “He was just really happy for me.”
