How to Watch ‘The Chosen’ Season 5
Fans of the series should also keep tabs on the show’s official YouTube channel, as Jenkins hosts early livestreams of select episodes of the series. The third episode of season 5 is scheduled to be livestreamed on YouTube on June 18, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET.
Jenkins spoke out about the show’s unexpected success and theatrical releases amid season 5.
“Those things are markers and indicators that what we’re doing, I guess, belongs at the table of popular culture, [when] previously projects that are biblical or would be considered faith-based [would have been] considered to be niche projects for niche audiences,” he told People.
Jenkins continued, “And we’re really excited about the fact that people are just watching it as a television show. And whether you’re a believer or a churchgoer or not, this is a project that’s worth watching and enjoying as a historical drama.”

Was ‘The Chosen’ Renewed for Season 6?
The Chosen has been renewed for season 6. The season 6 finale will be released in theaters as a feature film on March 12, 2027, per Deadline.
Jenkins explained why fans will have to wait for the theatrical release of season 6.
“Season 6 is going to take us longer to film than any season we‘ve ever done, by far,” he said during a livestream. “That, of course, then pushes the post-production process as well.”
Jenkins continued, “Please be grateful for the fact that we try to get it to you as soon as possible. Be grateful for the fact that the show has grown and gotten bigger and that we are trying to satisfy the needs of everyone around the world.”
An official streaming date for season 6 has yet to be announced.
