Summer House stars are reacting to their former housemate Bailee Henderson’s engagement news.
“I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend,” Bailee, 25, captioned an Instagram post on Sunday, June 15.
Her now-fiancée, who has only been referred to as Shiv on social media, snapped a selfie of them with Bailee holding up her ring finger. It appears he proposed at the Masai Mara National Wildlife Reserve in Kenya.

The ‘Summer House’ Cast Has Made Some Interesting Comments About Season 10
“I think I might be getting engaged,” she said when discussing the trip. Bailee also shared details about how she and Shiv met.
“My boyfriend and I met at a park, Tompkins Square Park, we were having a picnic, we got pizza, I think we were both kind of seeing other people, we even talked to each other about our relationships and everything and how it felt like we were missing something,” she shared. “Boom, we’re dating.”
Upon seeing Bailee’s engagement announcement on Sunday, several Summer House cast members offered messages of support for their love story.
“Congrats Bailee!!” Ciara Miller wrote, alongside several red heart emojis. Amanda Batula also chimed in, adding, “Yayyyy congratulations.”
Fellow Summer House newcomer Lexi Wood also shared a sweet comment.
“Soooo happy for you!!!!!!!” she wrote.
Bailee joined Summer House as one of two new female cast members — alongside Lexi — when season 9 premiered this past February. Bailee appeared on two episodes of the Bravo show before fans clocked her mysterious disappearance, which led to some wild rumors on social media.
‘Summer House’ Cast’s Dating History
Lexi told her Hamptons housemates for one Summer House episode that Bailee was “having boyfriend issues,” which is what led to her departure from the show.
Lindsay Hubbard briefly acknowledged Bailee’s exit from the show during an April interview with It Girl.
“I don’t really know, like, what I’m allowed to say about this topic,” Lindsay explained. “But I will say, here’s the deal. Like if you are brought onto the show with certain expectations based off of what you told producers — such as if you’re single — and then you turn out not to be single, it’s kind of an issue.”
Prior to the Summer House season 9 premiere, Ciara hinted to Us Weekly exclusively about Bailee joining the show.
“I loved Bailee. I thought she was so cute,” Ciara gushed at the time. “She’s from Kentucky, has the cutest southern accent, and was always bubbly, down for whatever. Loved to party. She had a really cool girl style about her.”
