Who Will Georgia Choose in Season 4 After ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Pregnancy Twist?

Georgia has some big decisions to make in season 4 of Ginny & Georgia after finding out she’s pregnant — but will she choose Paul or Joe?

Creator Sarah Lampert broke down exclusively for Us Weekly what fans can expect after that baby twist, teasing, “Zion, Paul and Joe each bring something so unique, so specific and so nuanced to the table that they’re each able to really bring out a different side of Georgia.”

Lampert started by explaining where Georgia’s relationship with her ex — and Ginny’s (Antonia Gentry) father — Zion (Nathan Mitchell) stands.

“Zion made the right choice to pull his daughter out of the house of someone he realized was a murderer and there was violence and there were guns,” she noted about the former couple’s biggest issue.

Where Is Each ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Couple Heading in Season 4?

Scott Porter’s character Paul, meanwhile, started the season married to Georgia but ended it on the outs. To be more specific, Paul started to pull away amid Georgia’s murder trial but they briefly got back together when she lied about being pregnant. Paul found out and it resulted in a heated fight that ended their relationship for good. Or did it?

“For Paul, what he went through was really complex and really complicated,” Lampert continued. “That character struggled through whether or not to follow his heart or his brain. It was heartbreaking to see.”

Porter, 45, didn’t rule out Georgia and Paul crossing paths again.

“Georgia’s still a massive force in his town of Wellsbury,” he noted to Us earlier this month. “They’re going to cross paths and she’s definitely going to be involved in the goings on,” he teased. “So Paul is going to have to face her.”

Then there is Joe (Raymond Ablack), who finally acted on his feelings for Georgia.

“Going back to Joe. Your Joe, my Joe, our Joe — collectively, we love Joe. What’s so phenomenal about Joe is he just is so loyal and he just doesn’t give a s***. He is not going to waver and it doesn’t mean he’s a weak character because he isn’t,” Lampert teased to Us. “He’s strong in his convictions. We see him really show up for the people that he cares about.”

She continued: “But we also see him provide a level of, just, comfort and ease for not only Georgia but also Ginny and quite frankly also Cynthia. He’s got a really deep heart and he’s just got those soulful brown eyes and he’s just funny. What’s not to love about a funny, loyal guy who’s going to show up when everyone else ditches you because you’re on trial for murder?”

Everything to Know About ‘Ginny & Georgia’ Season 4 After Pregnancy Twist

Ablack, 35, was just as excited about the prospect of exploring Joe’s story more.

“If it were me leading my own life, I would hope to be endgame with someone that I trusted that deeply. I would hope to be endgame with my best friend,” he explained to Us. “I feel like if Georgia is going to tell these kinds of secrets [about herself] to anyone — it would be to her best friend. That was Joe this year.”

Ablack noted how “it makes sense” for Joe and Georgia to end up together, adding, “They should be endgame. But sometimes the most frustrating and addictive thing is to watch someone mess up those very obvious and those right choices that they should make.”

Ginny & Georgia is currently streaming on Netflix.
