Lauren Alaina is officially a mom.
On Friday, June 13, the country music star took to Instagram to announce the birth of her first baby with her husband, Cam Arnold, who she married in February 2024.
Alaina, who admitted she will miss being pregnant in a separate Instagram post, shared several images of herself and Arnold in the hospital with their newborn baby girl, revealing her name to be Beni Doll Arnold.

Beni was born on Wednesday, June 11, nearly two weeks past her due date, weighing 7 pounds, 13 ounces and measuring 19 inches long.
“The right words are hard to find to describe how parts of my heart that I didn’t even knew existed were unlocked at 8:44 am when they laid you on my belly for the first time,” Alaina wrote. “I will never be the same.”
The singer continued calling Beni “absolute perfection.”

“We are honored God chose us to be your parents. Thank you to everyone for all of the love, prayers and support for our precious daughter,” she added before sharing “a little surprise” with her fans in honor of Beni’s birth.
“To celebrate the most precious miracle on Earth I have decided to release a song I wrote about my daughter,” Alaina explained. “We learned she was coming in a time of deep sadness after the loss of my daddy.”
Alaina’s father died in July 2024.
Alaina said she “wasn’t sure when I would share Heaven Sent but watching my own husband become a father the last couple of days has made me want to share it with you now.”
“She came just before Father’s Day. My first without my own father,” Alaina continued. “A day that will forever be hard to me, but I now have a new and perfect reason to celebrate it. Beni’s daddy. My sweet and steady husband.”
She added, “Beni truly is a gift from God that my old man sitting up there in Heaven Sent. It’s out now everywhere.”

“Heaven Sent” starts out with Alaina singing about hearing those “couple words” her “whole life” before revealing how she learned about her father’s passing.
“What about when heaven sent my daddy back home in the middle of the night?” she sings. “Left us down here on a screened-in porch saying, ‘Hey, God, what’d you do that for?’”
“Everybody says there’s a plan,” the lyrics continue. “I guess it’s true ’cause some things you just don’t understand until you do.”
