David Eason’s Ex Olivia Is Thankful for ‘Support’ After Daughter’s Death

David Eason’s ex Olivia Leedham and their 11-year-old son, Kaden, have spoken out after her daughter suddenly died at age 7.

“Olivia and Kaden want to express their heartfelt gratefulness for all of the love and generosity and support,” a Thursday, June 12, update on a GoFundMe campaign supporting the mother-son duo read.

The fundraising page, organized by Leedham’s friend Alice Guy, confirmed earlier this week that her daughter Lailah had died.

“Our friend Olivia Leedham tragically lost her beautiful 7-year-old daughter, Lailah Price, yesterday,” the GoFundMe description read. “She was in the emergency room several times without a diagnosis, and while in the hospital Friday night, she had a seizure and passed away early Saturday morning, June 7th.”

The statement added, “Olivia is a single mom to Kaden and Lailah, [who] was a bright light in their family and loved life and Jesus very much. Olivia takes pride in supporting her children and providing for them as a barber, but in light of this terrible tragedy, we are trying to raise money to help her over the next few months, covering living expenses, as she tries to heal after this tragic loss. Please keep this family in your prayers as they need them moving forward.”

Eason, 36, has not publicly addressed Lailah’s death. In addition to his son with Leedham, he also shares daughter Maryssa with Whitney Rich and daughter Ensley with Jenelle Evans. (The Teen Mom alum filed for divorce in March after six years of marriage.)

“I share all my condolences and my prayers out to David’s ex because I can just not imagine how she feels right now,” Evans, 33, told The Daily Mail earlier this week. “My prayers and condolences go out to her, and I just can’t imagine how she feels right now.”

In a separate statement shared with Us Weekly, a rep for Evans noted that the reality TV star “extends her deepest condolences.”

Leedham and her two children did not appear on MTV’s Teen Mom franchise, instead living a private life in Florida. She did, meanwhile, often post tributes to Kaden and Lailah on social media.

“My little girl, she truly amazes me every day,” Leedham wrote via Instagram in May 2024. “Her beautiful heart and mind, she is smart, she has the most amazing personality and I’m so proud of her for who she is. I love you my little Lailah bug.”
